empressissi™ is pleased to offer this amazing military 'Aviator' style IWC Schaffhausen top class watch in stainless steel for men with a sector dial and a legendary manual wind movement. It is working well, keeping good time and ready to wear or gift!
The watch houses a legendary cal. 61 manual wind movement, running well on 17 jewels and adjusted to three positions with sweep seconds. The 60 series of movements was replaced by the iconic cal. 88/89 during the early 50s. It is cased in an original and signed stainless steel case with good crown and mint low dome crystal.
The dial was professionally restored here in our atelier with complicated dual tones of silver and sector design with original set of hands in dual tone luminous filling.
This unique and elegant early IWC Schaffhausen gents watch measures 31mm side to side (excluding crown) and 37mm from top lug to bottom lug and is modest in size even for a vintage watch.
Attached to this watch is a standard length brand new, 16mm wide quality NATO Style strap in olive green, great match to this military style watch.
