empressissi™ is pleased to offer this elegant and all original dress watch for men from the early 40s by the fine maker BULOVA, known as the 'Minute Man' model with a rare original black dial variant 'D' and long lugs. It is ready to wear, gift or add to your collection.

The watch houses an uncommon 7AH manual wind Bulova caliber, running on 17 jewels with sub seconds and it is an early example of the barrel shaped movement that led Bulova dress watches for the next 10+ years ahead, most notably are calibers 7AP and 7AK of the late 40s. It is cased in a 10K gold filled case in overall very good condition. The case has a near mint original crystal and a good crown.

The dial is a rare factory made black tone in well preserved condition with gilt print and comes with the original set of hands.

This collectible BULOVA watch measures 21mm side to side (excluding crown) and 42mm from top lug to bottom lug and is modest in size even for a vintage watch.

Attached to this watch is its original B/R gold filled bracelet with foldable clasp. It exhibits some wear on the links and an engraving on the clasp but overall in functional well preserved condition, it will fit a wrist of up to 175mm.
