empressissi™ is pleased to offer this exquisite American made ELGIN dress watch for men from the late 40s.
The watch houses a strong hi grade 624 manual wind movement with sub seconds, running on 17 jewels. It is cased in a signed 10K yellow gold filled case in classic design and overall excellent condition with a good crown and near mint crystal.
The dial is factory original - pale white tone with embossed gold plated numbers. It has an original set of hands.
This Lord Elgin watch measures 22mm side to side (excluding crown) and 35mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is its original, ultrasonically cleaned and in excellent conditio, combined semi-flex portion with rice-bead portion SPEIDEL style bracelet in gold filled over stainless steel.
