empressissi™ is pleased to offer this fantastic early OMEGA watch for men from the late 40s with classic bumper automatic movement and a design known as Ref 2446-1 for the American market. This is a robust yet elegant watch in stainless steel, ready to wear.
This watch houses a quality 28.10RA caliber with 17 jewels which is a bumper automatic movement with 19,800 beats per hour and is one of the earliest designs from Omega. It is housed in a stainless steel case with an original crown and mint generic low dome crystal.
The dial of this watch is factory original - gorgeous and nicely aged dual tone silver with silver inlaid numerals and original set of hands.
This unique Omega watch measures 35mm side to side (excluding crown) and 41mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a standard length brand new, 18mm wide quality padded genuine leather band in blue tone with unsigned anti-allergic buckle in white tone.
