The watch houses a bumper automatic 480 caliber, running on 17 jewels with a more rare sub seconds seconds. It is cased in a GRUEN original relatively small, military style case in stainless steel (Gruen branded as 'Guildite') model and has a mint acrylic crystal and original crown.
The dial is an amazing factory original example in near mint condition with the original Radium filling on both the numerals and the original set of hands.
This collectible GRUEN watch measures 32mm side to side (excluding crown) and 39mm from top lug to bottom lug and is modest in size even for a vintage watch.
Attached to this watch is standard length, brand new 16mm wide NATO style genuine leather strap in brown tone, great match for this vintage WW2 style wrist watch.
