empressissi™ is pleased to offer this pretty uncommon and elegant American made HAMILTON dress watch for men from the mid50s in design known as the SEDGMAN in 14K solid yellow which appeared just twice, in the 1953 and 1955 catalogs.
The watch houses a strong 748 manual wind movement with sub seconds, running on 17 jewels and is a quality high grade American made movement. It is cased in a 14K bubble back solid yellow gold case which is relatively large, with mint crystal and a good crown.
The dial is a complicated factory original with dual tone silver, pearl index and applied solid gold markers/numerals. It is lightly aged in areas but presents elegantly with an original set of hands.
This Hamilton watch measures 34,5mm side to side (excluding crown) and 42mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a brand new, top quality slim Italian hand made genuine leather band in dark brown tone, 16mm wide, with anti-allergic buckle in matching tone.
