empressissi™ is pleased to offer this rare and sought after CYMA watch for men with a sophisticated automatic wind movement from the late 50s. The CYMA brand is completely underestimated vs. the ingenuity of their movement design, and this caliber is a great example. The 485-488 series features a patented double-excenter winding with jewelled rollers (for low height), jewel-bearing rotor and other unique modifications similar to the IWC Pellaton design, a real *Must* for the serious collector.
The watch houses a strong 485.2 full rotor automatic wind movement with sweep seconds complication, running on 27(!) jewels and features a non-quickset date. It is cased in a sturdy stainless steel case with a mint crystal and good crown.
The dial is factory original and in well preserved condition, silver sunburst with very little aga and applied baton markers with original set of hands.
This state of the art CYMA watch measures 35mm side to side (excluding crown) and 40mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a fine slim genuine leather band in a black tone, 19mm wide, with a non-allergic white buckle.
