1933 ELGIN USA Ladies Art Deco Filigree Bracelet Watch

empressissi™ is pleased to offer this extremely rare ELGIN American made watch for ladies from the Art Deco period, set in a filigree bracelet - all original and in excellent condition.
The watch houses a fine 484 manual wind grade, running on 15 jewels. It is cased in unique 'capsule' attached to the main bracelet and can be easily detached through a lower locking mechanism. The case has the original mint crystal and original crown.
The dial is factory original, gorgeous dark pearl tone with raised gold plated numerals in distinctive Art Deco design and original set of hands.
Attached to this capsule containing the watch is a highly elaborated Chrome plated filigree bracelet which opens into two parts with a locking clasp. The bracelet is 20 mm wide and will fit a wrist of up to 155 mm comfortably.
