The watch houses an early 912 American made hi grade movement running on 17 jewels. It is cased in a 12 size original and signed HAMILTON 14K white gold filled case known as 'The Farragut' design with internal dust cover. The case is in excellent shape and has a good free bow and original crown. Good hinges. Has mint low dome crystal. The design of this case is a classic Art Deco in white tone.
The dial is an elegant eggshell metal dial in excellent condition featuring and original set of hands and the original disc replacing the sub seconds hand, a design often referred to as 'Secometer'.
This fantastic pocket watch measures 46mm side to side (excluding crown).
