empressissi™ is pleased to offer this early and sought after Art Deco GRUEN wrist watch for men - a unique model from the early 30s, great depression era, gold filled case with a classic Art Deco design in skyscraper motif.

The watch houses an early quality GUILD 703 caliber,which is an economy movement running on 7 jewels and yet very accurate with great motion and with a sub seconds. It is cased in an elegant gold filled case in distinctive Art Deco Skyscraper design in white tone with decorative frame, Ref 703/153. The watch has a mint correct mineral crystal and a good crown.

The dial is a factory original pearl tone with gold plated 'print', very elegant and in fantastic condition with an original set of hands.

This Gruen watch measures 24,5mm side to side (excluding crown) and 36mm from top lug to bottom lug.

Attached to this watch is its original bracelet, LANCE in stainless steel with adjustable clasp and overall excellent condition. It will fit a wrist of 160-170mm.
