empressissi™ is pleased to offer this most elegant 'Ermeto' style folding travel watch from the late 30s in classic Art Deco design.
The watch houses an early, hi grade Swiss generic AS movement, running well on 15 jewels and keeping excellent time. The movement is cased in an all around Sterling silver marked, heavy gauge case, uniquely designed in elaborated straight line engine design and the watch compartment is accessed by simply pulling the two sides out verse a spring tension. The watch is then revealed upwards. The mechanical components are all present and fully functional and the watch has its original crown mineral crystal and is overall well preserved.
The dial is a classic Art Deco in design, very similar to early 30s Bulova models with an original set of hands.
This one of a kind watch measures 57x35mm when closed and 87x35mm when open, 12mm thick.
