empressissi™ is pleased to offer this historic, all original, open face IWC pocket watch made under order of Ulysse Nardin for the US Corps of Engineers during the first world war. The watch houses an early Swiss classic gilt Ulysse Nardin caliber which is a high grade crown wind, crown set movement in overall excellent condition, running strong and keeping accuarate time with sub seconds. The movement is cased in a large continental 0.800 Swiss hallmarked silver case with internal dust cover. Both hinges are strong and shut properly. The case has a good bow and original lightly used onion crown. It comes with the mint original mineral crystal.
The dial is a factory original and in rare mint condition. It appears to contain the original Radium filling although I suspect the hands do have a lighter tone. It is in excellent condition, no cracks or damage and comes with the original set of hands.
This rare pocket watch measures 53mm side to side (excluding crown).
