empressissi™ is pleased to offer this very uncommon, LONGINES automatic watch for men from the mid60s. The Conquest series was one of Longines' top class with the legendary caliber 291. This watch is ready to wear.
The watch houses a strong and legendary 291 hi grade automatic wind caliber, running on 24 jewels which is quite an uncommon count and has a unique design as well, with sweep seconds and date. The date is non quickset model. It is cased in a robust gold capped stainless steel case in very good condition with minimal wear signs. It has the original signed crown and mint crystal.
The dial is a service dial in black tone with correct Roman numerals print and has the original set of hands.
This Longines watch measures 34mm side to side (excluding crown) and 40mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a standard length brand new, quality padded 20mm wide genuine leather band in black tone with anti-allergic buckle in white tone.
