empressissi™ is pleased to offer this gorgeous and all original BUCHERER gents wrist watch from the 70s, one of several models we acquired recently from a collector who focused solely on this brand.
The Bucherer Group, founded in Lucerne, Switzerland, in 1888 by Carl F. Bucherer and now owned by the Rolex group, operates as a leading international luxury watch and jewelry retailer with over 100 stores, similar to the American Tiffany. It also historically manufactured its own luxury mechanical watches under the Carl F. Bucherer brand, a line known for its chronometers and technical innovations
The watch houses a hi beat ETA based automatic movement, running well on 17 jewels with non quick set date. It is running well and keeping good time. The movement is cased in a monoblock stainless steel cushion shaped case in very good condition, still retaining its original sunburst finish. The case has a mint crystal and original B signed crown.
The dial is factory original - classic icy silver with applied Rhodium plated slim markers and an original set of hands, all in mint condition.
This elegant Bucherer measures 34mm side to side excluding crown and 34mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this chunky Swiss watch is a brand new quality genuine leather band in padded green, 20mm wide, with an anti-allergic buckle in matching tone.
