empressissi™ is pleased to offer this all original, elegant American made HAMILTON dress watch for men from the early 40s in design known as the YORKTOWN in gold filled which is ready to wear or gift. This is quite an uncommon model with a long, streaming design.
The watch houses a strong and classic 980 manual wind movement with sub seconds, running on 17 jewels and is a quality high grade American made movement. It is cased in a 10K gold filled flat design case with mint correct crystal and an original crown. The back corners exhibit some wear which is otherwise unseen when watch is worn.
The dial is factory original, made of Sterling silver with a hard enamel print. It has solid gold applied numerals and an original set of hands.
This Hamilton watch measures 21mm side to side (excluding crown) and 42mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a brand new, quality slim genuine leather band in somewhat dark green tone, 14mm wide, with anti-allergic buckle in matching tone.
