empressissi™ is pleased to offer this elegant American made ELGIN dress watch for men from the late 40s.
The watch houses a strong hi grade 555 manual wind movement with sub seconds, running on 17 jewels. It is cased in a signed 10K yellow gold filled case in classic design, this is model 5712.
The dial is factory original - eggshell off white tone with embossed gold plated numerals, lightly aged. It has an original set of hands.
This Elgin watch measures 28mm side to side (excluding crown) and 35.5mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a brand new, padded, genuine leather band in dark brown tone, 16mm wide, with anti-allergic buckle in matching tone.
