empressissi™ is pleased to offer this original and well preserved GRUEN dress watch for men from the early 40s, in gold filled case with an early Swiss manual wind movement. This model from 1940 is an elegant fusion of Military and Art Deco style.

The watch houses a 411C Veri-Thin caliber running on 15 jewels with sub seconds. It is cased in a GRUEN original 10K gold filled with stainless steel back case in unique shape with most elegant design, original near mint mineral crystal and a good crown.

The dial is an original and super elegant dual tone with Breguet numerals and an original set of hands.,

This collectible GRUEN watch measures 27mm side to side (excluding crown) and 36mm from top lug to bottom lug and is modest in size even for a vintage watch.

Attached to this watch is its original and in excellent condition gold filled US made bracelet with adjustable clasp. To fit a wrist of up to 185mm comfortably.
