empressissi™ is pleased to offer this original and well preserved GRUEN dress watch for men from the early 40s, in gold filled case with an early Swiss manual wind movement. This model known as the 'Banner' from 1940 is all original and ready to wear!

The watch houses a 406 Veri-Thin series caliber running on 15 jewels with sub seconds. It is cased in a GRUEN original 10K rose gold filled case in unique shape with most elegant lugs, original lightly scratched curved crystal and original signed crown.

The dial is an original and super elegant dual tone copper/salmon with raised gold plated numerals, exhibits some signs which adds lots of character and comes with an original set of gold plated hands.

This collectible GRUEN watch measures 25mm side to side (excluding crown) and 36mm from top lug to bottom lug and is modest in size even for a vintage watch.

Attached to this watch is a brand new 16mm wide genuine leather band in padded dark brown tone with an anti-allergic yellow tone buckle.
