empressissi™ is pleased to offer this very uncommon and in mint condition GILDE wrist watch for men, made by GRUEN for the European market in the 30s with the same Alpina movement used in Quadron models in the US market.
The watch houses an early quality Alpina 485 caliber, running well on 15 jewels with sub seconds. It is cased in an elegant marked GILDE stainless steel case in mint condition with a mint original crystal and a good crown.
The dial is a factory original - gorgeous dual tone with an original set of hands.
This Gruen watch measures 22mm side to side (excluding crown) and 37mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a brand new quality slim genuine leather band in black tone, 18mm wide with an anti-allergic white tone buckle.
