empressissi™ is pleased to offer this early and sought after top class GRUEN Quadron reference 0S-67 in 14K solid white gold from the early 30s. This is a very rare model for collectors.
The watch houses a rare and early 157 'Quadron', barrel shaped caliber running on 15 jewels with sub seconds complication. It is cased in a phenomenal Art Deco 14K white gold case in excellent condition in elegant Octagon shape. The case has an original mint crystal and crown.
The dial is a factory original hard enamel with Art Deco style numerals. The dial has had its hazardous Radium filling removed in the past and restored with luminous filling, carefully hand painted to simulate the original look. It comes with the original set of hands.
This rare Gruen watch measures 22mm side to side (excluding crown) and 37mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is standard length, brand new quality 16mm wide genuine crocodile leather band in padded black tone, with an anti-allergic buckle in matching tone.
