The watch houses one of the most common American made calibers - the famous 980 manual wind movement with sub seconds, running on 17 jewels. It is cased in a 14K gold filled case with mint acrylic crystal and an original crown.
The dial is made of Sterling silver in dual tone silver/white finish and this variant has the original black enamel inlaid index with applied solid gold numerals and an original set of hands.
This Hamilton watch measures 22mm side to side (excluding crown) and 39mm from top lug to bottom lug and is modest in size even for vintage standards.
Attached to this watch is a brand new, quality genuine leather band in tan brown tone, 16mm wide, with anti-allergic buckle in matching tone.
