1968 Pair of HAMILTON 'Thinline 6501' Gents Vintage Dress Watch

empressissi™ is pleased to offer for sale this exceptional, all original HAMILTON Swiss pair of watches for men from the late 60s in reference known as the Thinline 6501 as featured in their 1968 catalog - One in white tone and one in gold tone. These are being sold as a pair together.
The watches house a strong 639 manual wind caliber which is based on an ultrathin Buren-280 movement with sub seconds complication, running on 17 jewels. They are cased in a fine 10K Rolled gold plated case in white/yellow tone with stainless back, excellent overall condition still with the original finish and has a mint correct crystal and original signed signed crown.
The dial is an elegant silver sunburst with applied solid gold markers in excellent condition. They both comes with the original set of hands.
These elegant Hamilton watches measure 25.5mm side to side (excluding crown) and 33mm from top lug to bottom lug and are modest in size even for a vintage watch.
Attached to these watch are their original JB USA flex gold plated over stainless steel bracelets in excellent condition. These bracelet are shown in the 1968 catalog together with this model.
