empressissi™ is pleased to offer this original and very early IWC Schaffhausen 14K solid yellow gold dress watch retailed by the fine Boston retailer Hodgson, Kennard and Co with a legendary manual wind movement in the highest finish and timeless design. It is working well, keeping good time and ready to wear or gift!

The watch houses a legendary, early and top class cal. 64 manual wind movement, running well on 17 jewels and adjusted to six positions, making it an unofficial chronometer. It is cased in an original Cressarrow thick, 14K solid gold case in yellow tone and comes with a mint original bevelled crystal and good crown.

The dial is factory original, Sterling silver made with hard enamel Art Deco numerals in gilt finish with original set of hands. The luminous material on the hands and movement has been restored in the past.

This unique and elegant early IWC Schaffhausen gents watch measures 28,5mm side to side (excluding crown) and 351,5mm from top lug to bottom lug and is modest in size even for a vintage watch.

Attached to this watch is a standard length brand new and hand made, 18mm wide, quality genuine crocodile band in dark brown tone with the original 14K gold marked buckle
