The "Carré-tortue" (squared turtle) derives from the Wenger-made case's aesthetical codes. The watch houses a rare 10-200 manual wind caliber, running on 18 jewels.This is a rare hi grade caliber decorated in Geneve stripes and adjusted to five positions. It is set in an original and signed PATEK PHILIPPE 18K solid yellow gold case in beautiful design which is in good proportions for a vintage watch and exhibits very minor marks on the back, possibly from past engraving. The case has a mint crystal and original signed crown.
The dial is 100% original factory made - Sterling silver with hard enamel print and applied solid gold markers with just a small ding between 11 and 12, hardly noticeable. It comes with the original set of hands.
This rare Patek Philippe watch measures 28mm side to side (excluding crown) and 35mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a brand new HIRSCH Dakota hand made quality genuine leather band in slim dark brown, 20mm wide with a generic anti-allergic buckle.
To complete your set I enclose the 'extract from the archive' documentation from Patek Philippe factory in Geneva with information regarding the watch and its origin. It is also worthy to mention that all details, as well as case and movement numbers match the item.
