70s LONGINES 'Olympian' Automatic Day/Date Gents Watch

empressissi™ is pleased to offer this large and impressive, top class LONGINES automatic watch for men from the late 70s in distinctive style, set in a robust case with a state of the art movement.
The watch houses a strong 111LD hi grade automatic wind caliber (Which is an ETA based 2790 caliber), running on 17 jewels in high beat 28,800 bp/h with sweep seconds, day and date. The date and day are both quickset by crown position. It is cased in a robust and fine stainless steel case with an original crystal and good crown.
The dial is in classic 70s style with gradient green tone and has an original set of hands.
This Longines watch measures 36mm side to side (excluding crown) and 41,5mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is its original, ultrasonically cleaned and in excellent condition LONGINES stainless steel bracelet, to fit a wrist of up to 185mm comfortably.
