Longines

Regular price $517.00

empressissi™ is pleased to offer this unique World War II era military style watch for men from the mid 40s in stainless steel case with Swiss manual wind movement cal. 12L, a design known as Ref 5150.

The watch houses a legendaey 12L military grade caliber running on 17 jewels with a sweep seconds complication. This is the non-hack version of the famous 12L movement and was normally used in civil horology as military surplus. It is cased in a classic stainless steel case and comes with mint acrylic crystal and good crown.

The dial was professionally restored in correct pearl tone with correct military style WW2 era print combined with luminous numerals, carefully hand painted in our atelier with non-toxic Super-Luminova
™ material. The same material was applied to the original set of hands as well.

This sought after Longines watch measures 33mm side to side (excluding crown) and 42mmfrom top lug to bottom lug.

Attached to this watch is a standard length brand new TIMEPIECE 16mm wide, quality padded genuine leather band in black tone with a generic anti-allergic buckle in white tone.

Vintage watches are often smaller than today's standards;
To avoid the inconvenience of returns merely due to wrong size expectations, Please take a moment to study the measurements of this watch. Keep in mind that in most cases, vintage watches are smaller than today's standards and are unlikely to fit a large wrist.
