empressissi™ is pleased to offer this rare and unique 'dustproof' Swiss watch for men from the first world war period in classic trench style and an Hermetic style case, a patent developed by Jean Finger and used in early Rolex Submarine watches of the same era as well.
This watch houses a Swiss ebauche caliber running on 15 jewels in manual wind. This strong movement is cased in a Swiss hallmarked Sterling silver case with a unique design patented and marked JF (Jean Finger) which composes of double casing where the external ring is a screw-on type and the internal part is hinged within the monobloc case. The case is in excellent condition with two original mineral crystals and crown.
The dial may have been restored in the past with the correct print and has a nice set of black hands.
This unique watch measures 34mm side to side (excluding crown) and 45mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a standard length brand new genuine leather band in black tone, 12mm wide.
