empressissi™ is pleased to offer this fantastic early OMEGA watch for men from the mid 50s with classic early full rotor automatic movement and a design known as Ref FX-6040 in stainless steel. This is a robust and elegant watch, ready to wear.
This watch houses a quality 490 caliber with 17 jewels which is one of the first full rotor Omega movements with 19,800 beats per hour. It is housed in a stainless steel case with signed crown and mint generic low dome crystal.
The dial of this watch was professionally restored in the past and appears to have been made with the correct print and is still well preserved apart a few signs. Both markers and original hands were filled with a non-toxic Super-Luminova material.
This timeless Omega watch measures 34mm side to side (excluding crown) and 41mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a standard length brand new, 18mm wide quality slim genuine leather band with top fabric, very vintage in look with unsigned anti-allergic buckle in white tone.
