This watch houses a large key set/key wind KWKS BILLODES (often associated with Longines/Zenith) gilt caliber in overall excellent condition and running properly and appears to be with 21 jewels. The movement is cased in a large and heavy, thick gauge 0.800 silver case in hunter style with beautiful turned engine decorations, original bow, crown and mint crystal. The case has an interesting bezel with decorated roses (a common Turkish decoration) and an internal silver plated dust cover.
The dial is a factory original enamel white with most elegant Indian numerals in Roman style and original set of hands with matching floral decoration and golden ring, no damage.
This interesting and historic Ottoman market pocket watch measures 52mm side to side (excluding crown) and is supplied with a matching key.
