empressissi™ is pleased to offer this early and most elegant ELGIN 16-size side wind open face pocket watch from the early 20th century in an elegant white gold tone case with fancy dial.
The watch houses an early grade 299 American made hi grade movement running on 15 jewels. It is cased in a STAR Nickel case in great condition which is a screw type with original and firm bow and crown. The crystal is acrylic and is in excellent condition.
The dial is a fine factory original enamel with elegant gold inserts and an original set of slim hands, all very nicely preserved with just faint internal cracks.
This elegant Elgin pocket watch measures 49mm side to side (excluding crown).
