1912 ELGIN Father Time 14K Multicolor Gold Hunter 16s Pocket Watch

empressissi™ is pleased to offer this amazing top class 16 size ELGIN USA pocket watch in 14K solid gold case in near mint condition. Stunning multicolor case with top class Father Time grade. The watch was serviced here in our atelier and is running well, keeping good time!

This watch is part of a large 'Virginia Collection' we offer for sale, from an avid collector of mostly American made solid gold watches.

The watch houses an early grade 373 'Father Time' state of the art manual wind movement running on 21 jewels, lever set and absolutely stunning to look at.

The movement is cased in a superb LEON Co. 14K hallmarked solid yellow gold case featuring multicolor decorations in hunting motif, near mint condition, all crisp and sharp - really one of the finest examples. Strong covers, mint crystal, crown and bow. Top class watch here.

The dial is a factory original double sunken style white enamel with an original set of hands with no evident damage apart of some rubbing in the sub seconds area.

This fantastic American pocket watch measures 50mm side to side (excluding crown).
