empressissi™ is pleased to offer this unique 16 size hi grade Illinois BURLINGTON pocket watch with a fine manual wind movement made in the USA. There were less than 15'000 pieces in overall production of this particular hunter grade and the watch is all original and running well, keeping excellent time.
The watch houses an early grade 108 state of the art manual wind movement running on 21 jewels which is technically a railroad grade caliber but is not lever set. It is a fine stem wind/stem set American made movement made by Illinois.
The movement is cased in an original 14K Gold filled Burlington case in excellent condition with original firm bow, crown and mineral crystal. Both covers exhibit elegant and almost identical hand made three horses engraving.
The dial is a sought after white double sunken enamel with Montgomery design and an original set of hands.
This fantastic American pocket watch measures 49.5mm side to side (excluding crown).
