This watch is part of a large and mostly impressive, museum level collection of a retired IAF pilot that we are delighted to offer for sale in our website. These include repeaters, chronographs, both in hunter-cases - and open faces, most complex and interesting antique Swiss and American pocket watches of the finest standards.
The watch houses an early and desireable Swiss Movado open face high grade crown wind/crown set movement in overall fair visual condition and good running condition, running strong and keeping accurate time with sub seconds. The movement is cased in a relatively large yet slim 18K solid gold open face case with firm original bow, original crown, tight hinges, mineral crystal and the dust cover is made of 18K gold as well and the watch is engraved inside in Greek for 1920. In overall great condition and ready to add to your collection.
The dial is an amazing and all original pearl tone with hard enamel inlaid Roman numerals/Art Deco design in dark blue tone with original set of Breguet hands.
This one of a kind MOVADO pocket watch measures 47mm side to side (excluding crown).
