empressissi™ is pleased to offer this rare and fantastic ANGELUS quarter repeater with a quality nickel finish movement in excellent working order, set in 18K solid yellow gold case in Art Nouveau motif.
The watch houses an early complicated crown wind/lever set caliber featuring a quarter repeater through an exterior button located below the '6' position, in overall excellent condition, running on 17 jewels. The movement is keeping excellent time and the repeater is in full function, chiming on two gongs properly the hour and number of quarters. This movement is cased in an original 18K solid yellow gold case in elegant Art Nouveau motif with open cartouche. The dust cover is made of gold as well. Overall excellent condition with minimal signs of usage for around 100 years of age. It has an original crown and firm bow and comes with an internal mint crystal.
The dial is a factory original double sunken style in enamel, excellent condition with no visible damage and has an original set of hands.
This one of a kind pocket watch measures 51,5mm side to side (excluding crown).
