empressissi™ is pleased to offer this unique, well preserved large and strong running 16 size open face BALL Official Standard pocket watch, with an uncommon Swiss made Railroad approved grade.
The watch houses a Railroad grade adjusted RECORD 435C which is set with Incabloc shock proof and running on 21 jewels, adjusted accordingly with a large balance wheel. This Swiss movement is also lever set which is quite unusual but was designed to fit the RR standards. It is running strong and keeping good time. The movement is cased in a sturdy 10K rolled gold plate classic RR style case by STAR with an original bow and crown and has a mint crystal.
The dial is a factory original enamel in fantastic Montgomery style and elegant RR style numerals with an original set of hands, all in excellent condition.
This unique Ball pocket watch measures 50mm side to side (excluding crown).
