1945 HAMILTON USA 'Emerson' Gents Dress Watch

empressissi™ is pleased to offer this elegant and American made HAMILTON dress watch for men from the mid 40s in design known as the EMERSON in gold filled which was very popular among collectors but rather hard to find in good condition.
The watch houses a strong state of the art 980 manual wind movement with sub seconds complication, running on 17 jewels and is a quality American made movement. It is cased in relatively small 10K gold filled case with a mint correct crystal and an original crown. It has an inscription on the back for 1945.
The dial is made of Sterling silver and was professionally restored with the famous 'butler' brushed finish and applied solid gold numerals/markers. It has an original set of hands.
This Hamilton watch measures 22mm side to side (excluding crown) and 35mm from top lug to bottom lug and is relatively modest in size even for a vintage watch.
Attached to this watch is a brand new, quality HADLEY ROMA genuine leather band in tan brown tone, 14mm wide, with anti-allergic buckle in matching tone.
