empressissi™ is pleased to offer this phenomenal gents large vintage dress watch by the prestigious maker Jaeger LeCoultre, cased in a solid gold case with solid gold bracelet. It is estimated to 1945-1946.
The watch houses a gilt finish rare and sought after cal. 450/4C manual wind movement, running well on 17 jewels with early shock proof system and sweep seconds complication. It is cased in a large 18K solid gold case known as the Ref. 2953 model with good crown and mint crystal.
The dial is a pie pan style appears to have been professionally restored in the past and has a sharp correct print - elegant Roman numerals and applied solid gold markers over pearl tone surface, with an original set of hands.
This gorgeous large JLC watch for men measures 35,5mm side to side (excluding crown) and 44mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a 14K long beads bracelet in matching yellow gold tone with 585 (14K) marked clasp. It will fit a large wrist of up to 205mm.
