empressissi™ is pleased to offer this very rare and early civil market, trench military style watch for men from 1918 with an early quality LONGINES Swiss manual wind movement.
The watch houses a rare and early 12.91 military grade caliber running on 17 jewels. It is cased in a classic hallmarked Sterling silver case with internal dust cover and fixed lugs. It is in overall very good condition for its age. All hinges are functional and tight. This case has its original, very lightly scratched crystal and good onion crown.
The dial is a factory original white enamel dial with Art Deco military style WW1 era numerals with a classic red '12' with no visible damage. It comes with the original set of hands.
This rare Longines watch measures 32mm side to side (excluding crown) and 36mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a brand new 'NATO' style band in black tone, 16 mm wide.
