1928 LONGINES Gents Art Deco Octagon Swiss Watch

empressissi™ is pleased to offer this elegant and extremely sought after early Art Deco LONGINES watch for men from the late 20s. This watch comes with a rare early manual wind caliber which was the basis for their later legendary 9L and 9LT rectangular calibers. Fantastic Art Deco design in gold filled. Very unique and in great shape, ready to add to your collection, gift or wear! 

The watch houses a legendary 9.47N manual wind caliber, running on 15 jewels and adjusted to three positions. It is cased in a 14K gold filled case in classic Art Deco octagon shape and has a good crown and mint acrylic crystal.

The dial is 100% factory original, Sterling silver dial with hard enamel print. The dial has had its radium luminous material removed as originally it contained hazardious radioactive substance. Instead a simulated radium-tone material was manually applied on the original design, hazard-free! With original set of hands.

This elegant Longines watch measures 22mm side to side (excluding crown) and 38mm from top lug to bottom lug.

Attached to this watch is a standard length brand new, 16mm wide quality padded genuine leather band in black tone with unsigned anti-allergic buckle in yellow tone.
