empressissi™ is pleased to offer this all original post WW2 period style watch for men from the late 40s in stainless steel case with an early Swiss bumper automatic wind movement.
The watch houses an early AS caliber running on 17 jewels which is a bumper automatic technology caliber, sought after among collectors. It is cased in a stainless steel 'monobloc' case made of two pieces - a bottom capsule for the movement and an upper frame, all in stainless steel with a mint correct crystal and original crown.
The dial is factory original and gorgeous with hard to notice dual tone silver in military WWII style with old luminous material. The hands are original as well and had their luminous material restored with non-toxic Super-Luminova.
This original early Girard-Perregaux watch measures 30mm side to side (excluding crown) and 37mm from top lug to bottom lug and is modest in size even for a vintage watch.
Attached to this watch is a brand new old stock genuine leather, 16mm wide, quality NATO strap in black tone with an anti-allergic buckle in white tone.
