empressissi™ is pleased to offer this interesting custom watch made of a Universal Genève 14K white gold cocktail wrist watch for ladies from the early 60s combined with an earlier 20s period 14K white gold filigree bracelet in Art Deco style with diamonds, seem to go together very well and the result is stunning.
The watch houses an early Universal Genève tiny manual wind caliber running on 17 jewels. This movement is cased in a gorgeous 14K sharp lug-less case in white tone and soldered to the bracelet. It has the original flat mineral crystal and original U signed crown.
The dial of this watch was professionally restored in the past although it is very likely to have been retailed by Tiffany in the US. It has an eggshell tone with applied solid gold markers and an original set of hands.
This rare Art Deco watch measures 14mm side to side (excluding crown) and 17mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is the real jewel - An original Art Deco 14K gold bracelet in stunning filigree design and five quality diamonds with an original foldable clasp, all in solid gold. This bracelet is relatively small and will fit a wrist of 140mm comfortably.
