1890 ELGIN 10K Gold Demi-Hunter 0s Pocket Watch

empressissi™ is pleased to offer this unique ladies pocket watch in demi-hunter style in yellow gold, an early and sought after Elgin pocket watch.

This watch is part of a large 'Virginia Collection' we offer for sale, from an avid collector of mostly American made solid gold watches.

The watch houses an early grade 113 crown wind/crown set movement in gilt finish, 0 size, estimated to 1890 and is a fine American made movement running on 11 jewels.

The movement is cased in an elegant 'English style' Keystone 10K solid yellow gold American standard case with a demi-hunter window. The case has near mint two crystals, firm bow, good original crown and features elegant dark blue enameled Roman numerals on the front.

The dial is a factory original white enamel in classic design with an original set of hands, including the demi-hunter double hour hand.
