empressissi™ is pleased to offer this elegant and American made HAMILTON dress watch for men from the early 50s in design known as the NORMAN model in gold filled.
The watch houses a strong 982 manual wind movement with sub seconds, running on 19 jewels and is a quality American made movement. It is cased in a cushion shaped 14K gold filled case with an original crystal and a good crown.
The dial is made of Sterling silver with applied solid gold markers/numerals and was professionally restored in the past with the correct 'butler' brushed finish. It has an original set of hands.
This Hamilton watch measures 24mm side to side (excluding crown) and 36mm from top lug to bottom lug and is relatively small even for a vintage watch.
Attached to this watch is a brand new, quality slim genuine leather band in tan brown tone, 14mm wide, with anti-allergic buckle in matching tone.
