The watch houses an early grade 103 G.M. Wheeler model crown wind/lever set movement in decorated Nickel finish, estimated to 1890 and is a fine American made movement running on 15/17 jewels.
The movement is cased in a sturdy FAHY'S ORESILVER (Nickel/steel composition similar to stainless steel) hunter style case with a good original crown, good bow and near mint original mineral crystal
The dial is a factory original in classic Roman numeral style with no evident damage and has an original set of hands.
This fantastic American pocket watch measures 55mm side to side (excluding crown), The case alone weighs 60g without the crystal, crown and movement.
