empressissi™ is pleased to offer this fantastic, well preserved large and strong running 16 size open face BALL Commercial standard made by Waltham.
The watch houses an early Commercial Standard grade Model 1899 with gorgeous Nickel finish crown wind/crown set movement, estimated to 1903 which is a fine American made caliber, running on 17 jewels and keeping excellent time and apparently also a railroad grade movement.
The movement is cased in a sturdy open face 10K gold filled in yellow tone. In overall excellent condition with strong bow, original crown, mint crystal and overall no damage.
The dial is a factory original enamel in very nice condition with just a few hairlines that do add lots of character. It has the original set of hands.
This impressive American pocket watch measures 52,5mm side to side (excluding crown).
