empressissi™ is pleased to offer this rare and sought after ELGIN pocket watch in classic Art Deco design. It was serviced recently and is ready to wear and tell time.
The watch houses an early 12-size grade 479 hi grade American made Elgin manual wind movement running on 17 jewels. This particular slim caliber was used in some of the most elegant Art Deco watches designed by Elgin during the 30s, including this elegant 'Piping Rock' style pocket watch. It is cased in an original and fine Elgin Art Deco designed case in white 14K gold filled with enamel design to the front showing Roman numerals, all intact. The case has the original crown and bow and a near mint acrylic crystal.
The dial appears to be an early restored with the correct print and in overall fantastic condition and it comes with the original set of hands.
