empressissi™ is pleased to offer this extremely unique, amazing Art Deco, open face pocket watch from the 30s with a hand made MOP (Mother of Pearl) dial inspired by MC Escher design and cased in a Platinum/black enamel case.
The watch houses an uncommon and unmarked Swiss very slim lever movement which is a high grade crown wind, crown set movement in overall excellent condition, running strong and keeping accurate time. The movement is cased in a 3 pieces equally uncommon case, simply marked with a 'Sigma' letter ('Σ') inside an oval belt design. The qualified jeweler we work with acid tested it for Platinum. The case has a black coating both front and back. The front bottom has been repaired in the past but it does add character to the watch. It has the original bow, crown and a mint mineral crystal.
The dial is a hand made real mother of pearl with an M.C. Escher inspired design from the same era in black tone and an original set of silver plated hands.
