The watch houses an early grade 170, model 5 classic Nickel finish crown wind/crown set movement, estimated to 1899 and is a fine American made movement running on 15 jewels.
The movement is cased in a sturdy front screw Dueber Silverine case in great condition with normal signs of age and usage. It has an original tight bow and an original crown, everything is in working order and the crystal is a near mint mineral.
The dial is a factory original enamel with no damage and an original set of elegant hands over Roman numerals.
This large and impressive American pocket watch measures 57mm side to side (excluding crown).
