empressissi™ is pleased to offer this early 20th century period pocket watch for gents with a high grade manual wind movement which is crown wind, pin set in open face style, made for the British market.
The watch houses an early hi grade Swiss pinset manual wind lever movement which is working well and keeping good time on 17 jewels and fitted in the case as a hunter style. It is cased in a classic British open face case in silver plated with decorated Victorian initials to the back. The case is in good condition, has some signs of normal age considering it is almost 120 years old and has the original crown and near mint mineral crystal. The bow seem a bit off center and it is therefore not recommended to use it to hang the watch.
The dial is a factory original and rare enamel simulated with Roman numerals and sunken sub seconds with original set of Railroad style hands. The dial shows some signs but no significant damage.
This one of a kind pocket watch measures 48mm side to side (excluding crown).
