empressissi™ is pleased to offer this rare and fantastic DUNAND quarter repeater with a quality nickel finish movement in excellent working order, set in 14K solid yellow gold case in fantastic condition.
The watch houses an early complicated crown wind/crown set caliber featuring a quarter repeater through an exterior button located below the '8-9' position, in overall excellent condition, running on 17 jewels. The movement is keeping excellent time and the repeater is in full function, chiming on two gongs properly the hour and number of quarters. This movement is cased in an original 14K solid yellow gold case with elegant engine turned decoration on the back and no engravings. The dust cover is made of gold as well. Overall excellent condition with minimal signs of usage for around 100 years of age, minor shallow ding to the shoulder. It has an original crown and firm bow and comes with a good crystal.
The dial is a factory original double sunken style in enamel, excellent condition with no visible damage and has an original set of Louis XIV hands.
This amazing pocket watch measures 51,5mm side to side (excluding crown).
